Top One Hit wonders of the 90's Part 5 (1994)

It's been a while but I've been kinda busy. I plan on trying to get this whole list together so that it will update weekly, just as soon as I find the time. Anyhow as customary here is a little year in review before the music to jog your memory about the year.

This is the year that Nancy Kerrigan was attacked by a guy that was hired by Tonya Harding's Ex-Husband and her bodyguard. Al Gore attended the Superhighway Summit which helped to make the Internet what it is today. Kurt Cobain is found dead in his home from a gunshot to the head, many people say that he killed himself but we all know it was his wife Courtney Love. The end of Apartheid in South Africa becomes official with the first multiracial vote and Nelson Mandela becomes the first black president in South Africa. OJ is accused of killing his ex-wife and later found innocent in what was, up until recently, called the trial of the century. Microsoft stops using MS-DOS.  Some kid by the name of Michael Fay got his ass smack with a Singapore cane 4 times because he thought it would be cute to take some Singapore road signs. We celebrated the 25th anniversary of Woodstock. Now in the spirt of one of the greatest Music festival of all time let's get on with the list.

Top One Hit Wonders of the 90's Part 4 (1993)

Well here it is the next installment of my 90's one hit wonders. The year is 1993. Some random interesting events from this year include the debut of the longest running episodic TV series, on January 11th Monday Night Raw debuted and will be celebrating its 1000th episode; the Clinton era began; the Buffalo Bills become the laughing stock of the NFL by being the first team to loose three Super Bowls in a row; the whole Waco incident happened; I got stuck delivering newspapers during the Blizzard of '93; Lorena Bobbitt causes all men to shudder after she chops of the wang of her husband and then took a drive and threw it out the car window; and the ever classic video game Doom is released.

Some notable people that were born in 1993 were Scotty McCreery, Taylor Momsen,  AnnaSophia Robb, and Elián González. Notable deaths include Dizzy Gillespie, Audrey Hepburn, André the Giant, Brandon Lee, and Herman Munster.

Who am I kidding you didn't come here to read about 1993 you came to hear some good music. Before I start let me just say that while 92 was hard because of a lack of good songs, well 93 was the exact opposite. For 93 I had to choose from 16 songs to get my top ten and I still couldn't limit it to 10 there is a tie for the 10th video. Now for you to see my list.

1 hit wonders of the 90's Part 3 (1992)

It's time again for my list of one hit wonders. The year 1992 the the gave us President H. W. Bush puking in the lap of the Japanese Prime Minister and not even a week later Japan apologizes for forcing Korean women to become sex slaves during WWII. The year that Euro Disney opened only to be rename Disneyland Paris two years later, it was a year after that they saw their first quarterly profit. And who can forget the L.A. Riots? This year also saw Pope John Paul II issue an apology to Galileo and lift the inquisition on him even though he died 350 years earlier in his home alone because the church put him on house arrest and limited his visitors for fear of a conspiracy and heresy.

The year also gave us such celebrities as  Taylor Lautner, Olympic Gold Medalist Shawn Johnson,  Kate Upton,  Selena Gomez, Damian McGinty from Glee, Josh Hutcherson, who played Peta in hunger Games, and Miley Cyrus.

On the bright side it also gave us these one hit wonders.

Top One Hit Wonders of the 90's Part 2 (1991)

Well it's time for part 2 of my one hit wonders of the 90's. When it came to the year 1991 I had a very difficult time finding songs that I liked. In fact I was lucky to find ten of them for my top ten list. Well might as well get going with the list, but first let me repeat my little disclaimer so that I don't hear the complaints about some of these being called one hit wonders.

I know that some of you may argue that some of these artists are not one hit wonders. So the list contains recording artists who reached the Top 40 of the U.S. pop chart (the Billboard Hot 100) with just one single. This means that there may be some artists on these lists may have had released other songs in their genre, however they did not reach the top 40 on the Billboard 100 chart which is the standard measure for musical hits.

Now the list:

Top One Hit Wonders of the 90's Part 1

Last week on Facebook I announced that I would do a top ten list of the top one hit wonders of the 1990's. After some consideration I decided to sort of drag it out some and first do a top ten list for each year of the 90's from 1990 til 1999 after which I will do a list for the entire decade.

Before I start the list I feel I should put up a disclaimer.

With that out of the way it's time to start the list.
